Summer
The 92 days we dream about during the rest of the year.
The rest of the year that is either bitter cold or raining so hard you can't keep dry if your life depended on it.
And in Seattle, we know ALL about that rain.
We hold on to Summer memories for 9 months, reliving the relaxing days, the cool drinks and the sand between our toes
(or stuck to your feet if you're me).
Boat rides, bonfires, lobster dinners and ice cream that melts down the cone.
Swimming in the lake until our whole body is pruney.
Sitting by the fire until that mosquitos have attacked every square inch of skin.
Although we now have to fly 3,000 miles Home to hang out with our crazy family,
I wouldn't ever change anything about it.
